Claiming the Giant Eagle RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for March 21, 2018, is senior forward Brady Ferguson of the hockey team. A native of Carrollton, Texas, Ferguson helped propel the Colonials to their third straight Atlantic Hockey final as well as the fourth in the last five years by recording a hat trick in a 5-4 overtime win over Mercyhurst (3/16/18) in the semifinals of the 2018 Atlantic Hockey Tournament. He scored a pair of goals in the second period that gave Robert Morris a 2-1 lead, but the biggest of the game came at 19:15 of the third period, as it not only completed the hat trick but tied the game, 4-4, to help send it to overtime. In 41 games in 2017-18, Ferguson paced RMU in scoring with 49 points courtesy of 18 goals and 31 assists. He was named to the 2018 All-Atlantic Hockey Tournament Team.
