Junior forward Rebecca Vint of the ice hockey team earns her first Higher Images RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the 2013-14 campaign after compiling four goals in a split with Mercyhurst this past weekend in Erie, Pa. A native of Caledon, Ontario, Vint scored the eventual game-winning goal in the first game of the series, scoring at 8:43 of the second period to give the Colonials a 2-0 lead en route to a 3-1 victory. The next day, Vint registered a hat trick in a 5-3 setback in the second game of the series and in the process established a new Robert Morris career record for goals. She now owns 55 for her career, breaking the mark of 53 former Colonial Brianna Delaney originally established from 2008 to 2012. On the 2013-14 season, Vint leads RMU in goals (17) while ranking second in points (30).Â
