Taking home her second consecutive Peoples Natural Gas RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week to open the 2018-19 academic year is senior forward Jane Schleicher of the soccer team. Schleicher scored both goals in a 3-2 overtime setback @ Niagara (8/26). She tallied her first marker of the contest at 59:00 on a penalty kick to trim the deficit for the Colonials to 2-1, and just under nine minutes later knotted the game, 2-2, with a rebound goal. Through four games of the 2018 campaign, Schleicher, a native of Pittsburgh, Pa., is tied for the Northeast Conference lead in goals (3), points (6) and shots on goal (12).
