Tabbed the Peoples Natural Gas RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for Oct. 17, 2018, is junior running back Terence Stephens of the football team. Stephens, a native of Imperial, Pa., became the first player since the program’s inaugural season in 1994 to eclipse both 100 yards rushing and 100 yards receiving @ Duquesne (10/13). He finished with 16 carries for 112 yards and added six receptions for 110 yards to account for 212 yards of total offense. The last member of the Colonials to turn the trick was running back Tim Hall (1994-95), an NFL draft pick in 1996, when he finished with 157 yards rushing and two touchdowns on 15 carries as well as four receptions for 130 yards and a score @ Wagner (10/15/94). Part of a two-pronged attack in the backfield along with redshirt freshman Alijah Jackson, a two-time RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week, Stephens leads the Colonials in rushing with 424 yards on 74 carries, an average of 5.7 yards per attempt.
