Earning her second Peoples Natural Gas RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week nod of the 2018-19 season is Jaycee Gebhard of the ice hockey squad. In a road split with Mercyhurst last weekend in Erie, Pa., Gebhard helped Robert Morris earn the split by scoring a goal and posting two assists in a 5-1 victory in the second game of the series. Gebhard, a native of Plenty, Saskatchewan, assisted on the opening goal of the contest at 13:11 to help give the Colonials an early 1-0 lead. Holding a 3-0 lead heading into the third period, Gebhard helped put the game on ice by scoring at 6:35 to extend RMU’s advantage to 4-0, and her assist at 17:11 helped settle the final score. In eight games this season, Gebhard leads Robert Morris in points with 10 thanks to four goals and six assists.
