Earning her third Peoples Natural Gas RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week nod of the 2018 fall campaign is senior forward Jane Schleicher of the soccer team, who is bestowed the Halloween plaudit. In a 2-1 victory over LIU Brooklyn (10/27) at the North Athletic Complex, Schleicher, a native of Pittsburgh, Pa., scored both goals to help lift the Colonials to the win in their season finale. She scored on a penalty kick in the 28th minute to give Robert Morris a 1-0 lead. The Blackbirds came back to tie the score, 1-1, before Schleicher found the back of the net at 85:50 to help give RMU the win. For her efforts, Schleicher was named the Northeast Conference Co-Player of the Week (10/30). In 2018, she concluded the regular season as the league leader in shots (69), goals (13) and points (26). Her 13 markers rank second in the Robert Morris single-season record book, while in the career annals Schleicher ranks third in both goals (24) and points (52).
