Garnering his second consecutive Peoples Natural Gas RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week is senior forward Malik Petteway of the basketball team. In a 108-51 victory over Hood (12/29/18) that concluded non-conference play for the Colonials, Petteway, a native of Waterbury, Conn., led six players in double figures with a game-high 18 points. He shot 8-for-9 from the field against the Blazers and also grabbed 10 rebounds to record his second double-double of the season and fifth of his career. In 13 games this year, each off the bench for Robert Morris, Petteway has supplied the Colonials with averages of 10.6 points and 5.4 rebounds per contest. He ranks second in the Northeast Conference in field goal percentage (.552) and fifth in blocked shots with an average of 1.23 per game.
