Earning his second Peoples Natural Gas RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week nod of the 2018-19 campaign is sophomore forward Charles Bain of the basketball team. In a road split through Brooklyn, N.Y., last weekend, Bain averaged 12.5 points and 4.5 rebounds while shooting 50 percent (8-for-16) from the field, including 57.1 percent (4-for-7) from beyond the arc, and 83.3 percent (5-for-6) at the free-throw line. In a 52-49 win @ St. Francis Brooklyn (1/10/19), Bain contributed eight points and five rebounds. He knocked down four free throws in the final 1:38 of action, including a pair with 4.2 seconds to go that sealed the win. Two nights later Bain, a native of Freeport in the Bahamas, scored 17 points @ LIU Brooklyn (1/12/19). He shot 7-for-10 from the field, including 3-for-5 from deep. On the 2018-19 season, Bain is supplying Robert Morris with an average of 10.2 points per game and ranks fifth in the Northeast Conference in three-point field goal percentage (.404) and 11th in field goal percentage (.480).
