In helping Robert Morris earn a road split with Canisius, sophomore forward Nick Prkusic has been tabbed the Peoples Natural Gas RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for Jan. 23, 2019. Prkusic, a native of St. Albert, Alberta, finished with a goal and three assists against the Golden Griffins. In the first game of the series, a 7-2 victory for the Colonials, Prkusic posted a pair of helpers, including the opening goal of the contest as well as an assist on a goal in a second period that saw RMU score four times. The next day Prkusic scored the first goal of the game for the Colonials and also added an assist that pulled Robert Morris to within one, 5-4. In 22 games in 2018-19, Prkusic has supplied RMU with six goals and eight assists for 14 points.
