Earning the first spring honor for the 2018-19 Peoples Natural Gas RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week is senior midfielder Tyson Gibson of the lacrosse team. In the 2019 season opener for Robert Morris @ No. 9 Penn State (2/9), Gibson paced the offense with five points courtesy of three goals and two assists. He scored the first goal of the season for the Colonials, assisted on the second and then found the back of the net again for the third tally of the year. Gibson, a native of Maple, Ontario, is coming off a 2018 campaign in which he finished third for RMU in scoring with 46 points thanks to 22 goals and 24 assists.
