Earning her second consecutive Peoples Natural Gas RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week and her fourth of the 2018-19 campaign is junior forward Nneka Ezeigbo of the basketball team. Named the 2019 Northeast Conference Defensive Player of the Year in a vote of league head coaches, Ezeigbo added another trophy to her mantle by being named the 2019 NEC Tournament MVP after leading the Colonials to their second NEC Tournament title in three years. In three games in the 2019 NEC Tournament, Ezeigbo averaged 15.7 points, 9.7 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 1.7 steals per game. A native of Ewing, N.J., Ezeigbo enters the 2019 NCAA Tournament averaging 12.6 points and 7.8 rebounds per game, both of which lead Robert Morris.
