Junior Natalie Higgins of the softball squad has been tabbed as the Peoples Natural Gas RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week for April 3, 2019. In six games last week, Higgins hit .421 (8-for-19) at the dish, scoring five runs, driving in four and registering a double and a pair of home runs. She helped guide the Colonials to their first two wins in Northeast Conference action in a road sweep of Central Connecticut (3/30) by going 2-for-3 with a run scored in the second game to help complete the sweep. In the first game of a doubleheader @ Bryant (3/31), Higgins, a native of Middletown, Ohio, went 3-for-3 with a run scored, two RBI, double and dinger. It marked the third time in 2019 Higgins has collected at least three hits in a game and was also her sixth multi-hit effort of the season. In 30 games for Robert Morris this year, Higgins is hitting .286 with 12 runs and a team-high 15 RBI. Â
