Freshman midfielder Michael Petitti of the soccer team has been named the Chick-Fil-A Robinson RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for Sept. 18, 2019. Petitti helped the Colonials pick up their first win of the 2019 campaign by assisting on the game-winning goal to lift Robert Morris to a 2-1 victory over California Baptist (9/12).  In the win at the North Athletic Complex, Petitti fed Riccardo Rota at the 73:02 mark for the deciding marker. Petitti, a native of Toronto, Ontario, has started four of RMU’s first six games of the 2019 campaign as a rookie.
