Junior middle blocker Emma Granger earns her fourth Chick-Fil-A Robinson RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week nod of the 2019 fall season after helping the Colonials clinch the 2019 Northeast Conference regular-season championship last weekend at the UPMC Events Center. In three victories last week, Granger, a native of Dalton, Ohio, posted per set averages of 5.00 kills, 1.90 blocks and 6.36 points while recording an attack percentage of .500. In a five-set victory over Central Connecticut (11/8) that clinched the 2019 NEC regular-season title, the program’s first since 2008, Granger finished with 33 points, an RMU single-match record. For her efforts, Granger was named the Molten/NEC Player of the Week for the sixth time in 2019, establishing a Robert Morris record. In 95 sets in 2019, Granger owns a team-high 325 kills, 53 service aces and a .377 attack percentage.
