Named the Chick-Fil-A Robinson RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for Nov. 13, 2019, is redshirt senior safety Mason Gray of the football team. In a 41-21 victory over Duquesne (11/9) at Joe Walton Stadium that marked the first fifth consecutive for the Colonials and kept Robert Morris perfect in the Northeast Conference, Gray notched four tackles, two interceptions, a pass breakup and a forced fumble. He returned both of his interceptions for touchdowns in the win, tying an NCAA Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) single-game record. Gray, a native of Washington, D.C., returned his picks 36 and 81 yards for scores, joining former defensive back Corey Oaks (2001-02) in turning the trick in an RMU uniform. For his efforts, Gray was selected as the NEC Defensive Player of the Week (11/11). In 10 games in 2019, Gray owns 82 tackles, 12 passes defended and two forced fumbles.
