Becoming a regular occurrence is middle blocker Emma Granger taking home the Chick-Fil-A Robinson RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week. She takes home her fifth of the 2019 fall season after posting averages of 5.86 kills and 1.29 blocks per set last week while recording an attack percentage of .529. In a 3-0 road sweep of Fairleigh Dickinson (11/15), Granger, a native of Dalton, Ohio, recorded 16 kills, two service aces and four blocks. The next day @ Long Island (11/16), Granger finished with 25 kills (against just two errors) in 41 attempts, compiling an attack percentage of .561. It marks the fourth time in the last six matches Granger has eclipsed the 20-kill plateau. For her efforts, Granger was selected as the Molten/Northeast Conference Player of the Week (11/18) for the seventh time in 2019. Entering the 2019 NEC Tournament, which the Colonials will host, Granger ranks seventh in NCAA Division I in blocks (1.49 per set), ninth in service aces (0.56), 24th in points (4.98) and 28th in hitting percentage (.392).
