Taking home the first Chick-Fil-A Robinson RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week nod of the new decade is senior center Nneka Ezeigbo of the basketball team. It marks her second honor of the 2019-20 season. As Robert Morris opened Northeast Conference play with a pair of road wins, Ezeigbo averaged 21.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.5 steals in victories over Central Connecticut (1/2/20) and Merrimack (1/4/20). She finished with a game-high 24 points on 10-of-12 shooting in an 86-56 triumph over the Blue Devils. Two days later Ezeigbo, a native of Ewing, N.J., scored 18 points and grabbed nine boards in a 68-62 win over the Warriors. For her efforts, Ezeigbo was named the NEC Player of the Week for the second time on the 2019-20 season and fourth time in her career. In 13 games in 2019-20, Ezeigbo is averaging 15.4 points and 8.5 rebounds for the Colonials.
