Taking home the Chick-Fil-A Robinson RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week for Jan. 22, 2020, is sophomore guard Isabella Posset of the basketball squad. In a sweep last weekend at the UPMC Events Center that capped a perfect 4-0 homestand, Posset averaged 13.5 points, 6.0 steals, 4.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.0 block per game while shooting 64.3 percent from the floor. In a 72-50 win over Merrimack (1/18/20), Posset, a native of Beaver, Pa., matched a career high with 16 points to go along with four rebounds, three assists and four steals. Two days later in a 73-43 rout of Sacred Heart (1/20/20), Posset scored 11 points and also recorded eight steals, the second highest total in RMU single-game history. Just 50 games into her career, Posset eclipsed 100 career thefts. For her role in the wins over the Warriors and Pioneers, Posset was tabbed the Northeast Conference (NEC) Player of the Week for the first time in her career.
