Earning his second Chick-Fil-A Robinson RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week is junior forward AJ Bramah of the basketball team. In a split last weekend at the UPMC Events Center, Bramah averaged 17.0 points and 12.0 rebounds while shooting 87.5 percent (14-for-16) from the field and 85.7 percent (6-for-7) at the free-throw line. He put forth a virtuoso performance in a 67-55 triumph over Sacred Heart (1/20/20) on MLK Day in front a nationally-televised audience on CBS Sports Network. Bramah, a native of San Leandro, Calif., established career highs in points (18) and rebounds (20) in the win over the Pioneers, converting all nine of his shots from the field. He tied an RMU single-game school record with his 20 caroms, a mark that has stood for over 40 years. Thanks to his performance, Bramah was named the Northeast Conference (NEC) Player of the Week (1/22/20). In 18 games on the 2019-20 campaign, Bramah is averaging 12.1 points and 8.3 rebounds while shooting 57.5 percent from the field, which ranks second in the league.
