Earning his second straight Higher Images RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week and his third of the 2013-14 season is junior forward Cody Wydo of the ice hockey team. A native of Southgate, Mich., Wydo produced a goal and an assist against No. 1 seed Minnesota (3/29/14) in the first round of the 2014 NCAA Tournament in St. Paul, Minn., as the Colonials made their first appearance in the Big Dance in 10 years as a Division I program. Thanks to his performance against the Gophers, Wydo established RMU single-season school records for goals (31) and points (54) and on his career owns 65 career goals, also a school record. Wydo helped lead Robert Morris to an overall record of 19-18-5 (.512) in 2013-14, including a mark of 13-9-5 (.574) in the Atlantic Hockey Association (AHA).
