Garnering her first Higher Images RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week accolade of the 2014 spring season is junior Aubree Ray of the track & field squad. For the second straight week to open the outdoor track & field season, Ray eclipsed the IC4A/ECAC qualifying mark in the discus thanks to a toss of 45.20 meters (148’3”) at the Bobcat Open Classic (3/29/14) in Buckhannon, W. Va., which was hosted by West Virginia Wesleyan. Ray posted the top mark in the event as the Colonials took home each of the top three distances at the meet.
