Selected as the Chick-Fil-A Robinson RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week for May 12, 2021, is sophomore Rachael Rhinehart of the softball team. In a road split last weekend @ Cleveland State that concluded the 2021 regular season, Rhinehart won both games from the circle for RMU and posted a 2.33 earned run average. She allowed three earned runs in nine innings of work, allowing just five hits while striking out 12 and not walking a batter. Rhinehart, a native of Woodinville, Wash., has established a career high of six strikeouts in each of her last appearances and overall on the 2021 campaign owns a record of 9-3 with a 2.87 ERA. Rhinehart is an early childhood education major who has posted a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.31.
