Freshman Faith Miller of the softball team has earned the final honor of the 2020-21 athletic season for the Chick-Fil-A Robinson RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week. In two games of the 2021 Horizon League Tournament last week in Youngstown, Ohio, Miller hit .600 (3-for-5) with a walk and an RBI in contests against Youngstown State and Oakland. In the opener against the Penguins, Miller safely reached base three times, finishing 2-for-2 with a walk. Later that night against the Golden Grizzlies, Miller, a native of Scottdale, Pa., went 1-for-3 with an RBI. For her efforts, Miller earned a spot on the 2021 Horizon League All-Tournament Team. In 35 games during the 2021 season, Miller hit .258 (25-for-97) with 18 runs, four doubles, a triple and eight RBI. A secondary education major, Miller owns a 3.86 cumulative grade point average (GPA).
