Named the Chick-Fil-A Robinson RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week for Sept. 8, 2021, is graduate student Alyson Londot of the volleyball team, who shares the accolade with Gabriella Lecuona of the soccer squad. As part of the RMU/Chick-Fil-A Robinson Labor Day Classic last weekend at the UPMC Events Center last weekend, Londot, a native of Utica, Ohio, earned a spot on the all-tournament team after finishing the three matches with 31 kills, a .175 attack percentage, seven digs, three blocks and 33 points. In a five-set victory over crosstown rival Duquesne (9/4) that concluded the annual home tournament for the Colonials, Londot established season highs in kills (12), hitting percentage (.216), points (13.5) and blocks (2). For the 2021 season Londot ranks second for RMU in kills (48) and third in points (51). A communication major, Londot owns a 3.80 cumulative grade point average (GPA).
