Earning one of two Chick-Fil-A Robinson RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week nods from the volleyball team for Sept. 22, 2021, is senior outside hitter Alyssa Hudak. In three matches last weekend at the Mountaineer Invitational, Hudak paced the Colonials with 19 kills and a .326 attack percentage. For her efforts she was named to the Mountaineer Invitational All-Tournament Team. Hudak, a native of Medina, Ohio, posted seven kills and a .400 hitting percentage against UMBC (9/16) before helping the Colonials earn a 3-0 sweep of George Washington (9/17) with seven more kills to go along with a .333 attack percentage. On the 2021 season, Hudak ranks fourth for the Colonials with 65 kills, an average of 1.51 per set, while producing a .209 hitting percentage, 21 digs and 24 blocks. She is a marketing major who has compiled a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.87.
