Earning one of two Chick-Fil-A Robinson RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week nods for Sept. 29, 2021, is redshirt senior wide receiver D’Andre Hicks of the football team. In a 22-16 victory over Howard (9/25) at Joe Walton Stadium that opened the home portion of the 2021 slate for the Colonials, Hicks, a native of Punta Gorda, Fla., led the receiving corps with four catches for 68 yards and two touchdowns. He hauled in a 43-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter that gave RMU a 14-7 lead, then took a shovel pass from quarterback George Martin and scampered 17 yards to pay dirt for the eventual game-winning with 3:01 to play. In four games in an RMU uniform, Hicks, an organizational leadership major who owns a 3.00 cumulative grade point average (GPA), has posted 23 catches for 250 yards and four scores.
