Claiming the Chick-Fil-A Robinson RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week honor for Oct. 27, 2021, is senior libero Nikolette Zanolli of the volleyball squad. As the Colonials opened a five-match road swing last weekend, Zanolli joined an exclusive club by becoming the 13th student-athlete in program history to eclipse 1,000 career digs. She accomplished the feat in the opener of RMU’s road swing @ Oakland (10/23) and during her time as a member of the Colonials has compiled 1,014 digs, averaging 3.61 per set. During the 2021 campaign, Zanolli, a native of Massillon, Ohio, and a biology major who has compiled a 3.81 cumulative grade point average (GPA), ranks third for RMU in digs with 127 in 51 sets, an average of 2.49 per set.
