Kicker Nick Bisceglia of the football team has been tabbed the Chick-Fil-A Robinson RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for Nov. 3, 2021. In a 38-35 victory over Hampton (10/30) that stretched RMU’s winning streak at Joe Walton Stadium to seven, Bisceglia hit a 38-yard field goal with five seconds remaining to lift the Colonials to the win. He also connected from 27 and 43 yards in the second quarter, with the latter a new personal best. For his efforts, Bisceglia, a native of New Kensington, Pa., was named the Big South Special Teams Player of the Week, becoming the first RMU student-athlete in program history to earn a weekly honor from the Big South. Overall on the 2021 campaign, Bisceglia leads the Colonials in scoring with 39 points. He ranks fourth in the RMU record book in scoring, including second among kickers, with 191 career points. Bisceglia is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in instructional leadership and owns a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.89.
