Fifth-year guard Rasheem Dunn of the basketball team has been picked as the Chick-Fil-A Robinson RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for Dec. 8, 2021. In a two-game road swing last weekend that opened Horizon League play for the Colonials, Dunn, a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., averaged 19.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists while shooting 48.1 percent (13-for-27) from the field, including 50 percent (4-for-8) from beyond the arc. Dunn established season highs in points (21), rebounds (6) and assists (6) in 38 minutes as the Colonials concluded a three-game road trip @ Milwaukee (12/4/21). He knocked down an event 50 percent (9-for-18) of his attempts from the field, including 3-for-5 from deep, against the Panthers. Overall during the 2021-22 season, Dunn is pacing the Colonials in scoring at 12.4 points per contest.
