Tabbed the Chick-fil-A Robinson RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for April 27, 2022, is senior defenseman Owen Down of the lacrosse team. In an 11-10 victory over Air Force (4/23) at Joe Walton Stadium, Down finished with a career-high four caused turnovers while also collecting three ground balls in the come-from-behind triumph. Down, a native of Scarborough, Ontario, has now caused a turnover in six consecutive games as well as a ground ball in 10 straight contests. Thanks to his performance against Air Force, Down was tabbed the ASUN Defensive Player of the Week (4/26), the first weekly honor of his career.
