Earning his second consecutive Chick-fil-A Robinson RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week honor is sophomore goalkeeper Friedrich Petrelli of the soccer team. In a pair of games last week, Petrelli helped the Colonials post a 1-0-1 record in recording a pair of shutouts. He now has recorded three consecutive clean sheets for RMU and has stretched his streak without giving up a goal to over 340 minutes. In a 1-0 win over Saint Francis U (9/21) as well as a 0-0 draw against Purdue Fort Wayne (9/24), both of which came at the North Athletic Complex, Petrelli, a native of Hamburg, Germany, recorded four saves. In seven games for the Colonials as the starting netminder, Petrelli has recorded a 1.00 goals against average, which is tops in the Horizon League with Tobias Jahn of Green Bay and Omeed Naeemy of Cleveland State.
