Freshman setter Kaitlyn Brown of the volleyball team earns her second consecutive Chick-fil-A Robinson RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week after her performance @ Youngstown State (10/7) that opened a four-match road trip for the Colonials. In arguably the finest performance of her young career, Brown, a native of Springboro, Ohio, fell a kill shy of notching a triple-double for RMU against the Penguins. She established career highs in both kills (9) and digs (15) while also handing out 37 assists, her second consecutive effort of at least 35 dimes and one off her career high established against IUPUI (10/1). Brown has recorded four consecutive double-doubles for RMU thanks to her performance @ Youngstown State and during that span is averaging 4.3 kills, 30.0 assists and 11.5 digs while producing a hitting percentage of .389.
