Earning her second Higher Images RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week accolade of the 2014 spring campaign is junior pitcher Nicole Sleith of the softball team. A native of Smithton, Pa., Sleith was tabbed to the 2014 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region squad recently, becoming the first player in program history to earn the honor three times. In 28 appearances from the circle in 2014, Sleith finished with a record of 14-9 and posted a 1.32 earned run average (ERA), which ranks second in the RMU single-season record book. She posted seven shutouts, held opponents to a .179 batting average, which paced the Northeast Conference, and in 164 innings struck out 179 batters while walking just 29.
