One of two Colonials from the softball team to be selected Chick-fil-A Robinson RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week for April 12, 2023, is sophomore Logan Black. In four starts last week, Black posted a slash line of .545/.615/.636, going 6-for-11 at the dish with a double, three RBI, two walks and a stolen base. In a doubleheader sweep of Northern Kentucky (4/8) at the North Athletic Complex, Black, a native of Gilbertsville, Pa., finished 3-for-5 with an RBI, walk and a stolen base. Overall during the 2023 season, Black has scored three runs while drawing 10 walks and swiping three bases.
