Tabbed the Chick-fil-A Robinson RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week for Sept. 6, 2023, is freshman outside hitter Natalie Stepanovich of the volleyball team. She shares the honor with sophomore Renae Mohrbacher of the soccer squad. In helping the Colonials go 1-1 in the Chick-fil-A Robinson Labor Day Classic at the UPMC Events Center, Stepanovich racked up 20 kills and 26 digs en route to being named to the all-tournament team. In a 3-1 win over Canisius (9/2) to open the doubleheader, Stepanovich, a native of Canton, Ohio, registered her second double-double of the campaign with 11 kills and a career-high 16 digs while also registering three assists, three service aces and a pair of blocks. In the early going of the 2023 season for RMU, Stepanovich ranks second in kills (59) and digs (59) while having posted a .240 attack percentage.
