The Robert Morris women’s soccer squad opened the 2014-15 athletics season last week by taking part in the Steel City Classic, and junior forward Kristie Hamilton is one of two players from the squad to share the first Higher Images RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the year. Hamilton, who led the Colonials in scoring last season with 13 points, opened the year with five points in her first two games thanks to two goals and an assist. Hamilton found the back of the next twice in the season opener, a 3-2 victory over crosstown rival Duquesne (8/22), while recording an assist in a 2-1 setback to Akron (8/24) to close out the tournament.
