NAC Softball Field

Opened in the fall of 1998, the North Athletic Complex (NAC) is the official home for the Robert Morris University softball program. The complex was constructed following the clearing of a 24-acre parcel of land that was previously a heavily wooded hilltop. Today, the site features a professional-grade natural grass softball field that offers a traditional and picturesque backdrop for Division I competition in the heart of the Moon Township campus.

In January 2017, the university expanded the complex with the announcement of the Student Recreation and Fitness Center. Serving as the centerpiece of the North Athletic Complex, the center features a pair of indoor basketball courts, a fully equipped weight room and cardio room, and three studios for group exercise. The adjacent outdoor court complex further supports the university's intramural and recreational sports programs, creating a vibrant athletic hub for all students.

The NAC Softball Field provides a classic collegiate atmosphere with sunken dugouts, a permanent outfield fence, and a high-definition scoreboard. The facility is meticulously maintained to provide a consistent playing surface for the Colonials, and its location within the NAC corridor ensures easy access to the Student Recreation and Fitness Center and nearby campus housing for student-athletes.

Admission and parking to all softball events at the North Athletic Complex is free of charge.
