Hamden, Conn. ? The Robert Morris University volleyball team defeated Quinnipiac, 3-1 (30-25, 25-30, 30-12, 30-10), Sunday afternoon. With the victory, the Colonials improved their record to 13-10 overall and to 3-2 in NEC action.

Emily Wolthuis (Byron Center, Mich. / South Christian) led the Colonial offense with 16 kills, while also recording eight digs and three total blocks. Jennifer Stambaugh (Union Bridge, Md. / Francis Scott Key) finished with 12 kills and 15 digs.

Senior Tawnya Storino (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Baldwin) also tallied a double-double with 45 assists and 10 digs, while also finishing with four kills and three service aces.

Jessica Camaioni (Williamstown, N.J. / Williamstown) led the Colonials with 18 digs, while Alaina Gibson (Muncie, Ind. / Muncie Burris) recorded 17 digs.

The Colonials return to action on Nov. 3 as they host Fairleigh Dickinson for a 1:00 p.m. contest at the Charles L. Sewall Center.
