Moon Township, Pa. ? The Robert Morris University ran its winning streak to four games with a pair of victories in each of the last two days. The Colonials beat Butler, 2-0, and Penn, 4-1, on Thursday and then defeated Rider, 7-1, and Columbia, 6-4, on Friday.
Seven Colonials are batting .300 or better during their current four-game winning streak. Lauren Nisivoccia (Nutley, N.J. / Mount St. Dominic) is batting .455 with four hits and three RBI, while Stacy Davidson (Akron, Ohio / Springfield) has gone 4-for-9 (.444) with a team high four RBI. Megan Lynch (Allison Park, Pa. / Shaler), Brooke Panepinto (Belle Vernon, Pa. / Belle Vernon) and Brenna Reed (Carnegie, Pa. / Montour) have all also driven in four RBI.
Lindsey Moates (Ocala, Fla. / Forest) and Reed have both gone, 2-0, and have compiled below a one earned run average. Moates has a 0.64 ERA and Reed has a 0.50 ERA in their last two starts.
Robert Morris closes out the Orlando Rebel Games on Saturday as they take on Siena at 11:00 a.m. and Wisconsin-Green Bay at 3:00 p.m.
