Bruce Cullen nets his first goal of the season.

Box Score

Brooklyn Heights, N.Y. / Brooklyn Bridge Park – Kevin Correa scored 3:30 into overtime to give St. Francis Brooklyn a 3-2 win over the Robert Morris University men's soccer team in a Northeast Conference game at Brooklyn Bridge Park Sunday afternoon. The loss was the second straight for the Colonials who slip to 6-6-2 overall and 1-3-0 in the league. The Terriers are 8-3-1 and 2-1 in NEC games.

Just three minutes into overtime, reigning NEC Rookie of the Year Kevin Correa found space outside the RMU box and launched a shot that found the upper-ninety and broke a 3-3 tie. It was the second goal of the game and eighth of the season for Correa.

Cyril Coisne first goal of the season came via 16th minute header and was the only marker of the first half.

Robert Morris created its own luck in the second half, outshooting the host Terriers 13-3. The pressure resulted in the Terriers scoring an own goal in the 54th minute as RMU would not allow them to clear the ball. A counter-attack in the 75th minute resulted in Correa's first score of the game on a give-and-go with teammate James Caicedo.

Sophomore Bruce Cullen (Pickering, Ontario / Pine Ridge) tied the game five minutes later on his first score of the year. His shot from the left sideline beat Jack Bincks and tied the game in the 80th minute.

The Colonials return to North Athletic Complex Friday, Oct. 25, to host Sacred Heart in a 3:00 p.m. game. RMU wraps up its regular-season home schedule two days later against Howard.
