Robert Morris University men's soccer team held Liberty without a goal for nearly 89 minutes, but the Flames scored twice in the final four minutes to upend the Colonials, 2-1, in overtime at the Jay Sculley Memorial Tournament at VMI. The Colonials have not lost its last two games, both away from home, to slip to 1-2-1 this season. Liberty improves to 3-0-1.

Robert Morris got on the board first in the 14th minute.
Bruce Cullen, who led the Northeast Conference with nine assists last season, picked up his first helper of the season driving the ball deep to the endline. There, he passed back to the center of the box where
Neco Brett was able to finish for his third goal of the season.

RMU held that lead for the next 75 minutes, but the Flames were finally able to solve goalkeeper
Brenden Alfery with just 1:08 left in regulation. A corner kick was unable to be cleared by the Colonial defense and Sachem Wilson took advantage with his second marker of the season.

The Flames tallied the golden goal just 2:51 into overtime. Bay Kurtz fed Blessing Tahuona in the box and Tahuona scored to the left side.

Alfery finished with seven saves for the Colonials. Scott Satarik had four saves for Liberty.
