Athletics Center O'Rena – Oakland, Mich. Against the Anteaters – The Colonials have never played UC-Irvine in program history.
Scouting UC-Irvine – The Anteaters enter this weekend's invitational with a record of 6-4 and have won three of its last four matches. Redshirt junior Marisa Bubica has hit at a .322 clip with 127 kills, while seniors Allison Lee and Arielle Manz have combined for 42 block assists.
Match #2 – Saturday, September 20 – Noon
Robert Morris vs. Oakland (6-5, 0-0 Horizon)
Athletics Center O'Rena – Oakland, Mich. Against the Golden Grizzlies – The Colonials have split four meetings with Oakland in their history. RMU's last win against the Golden Grizzlies came in four sets at the 2002 Akron Tournament.
Scouting Oakland – The Golden Grizzlies come into this weekend on a hot streak, having won their last four matches including a three-match sweep at the Army Tournament. Junior setter Ciara Schultz has 412 assists on the season, most of those dished out to sophomore Melissa Deatsch, who leads the team with 120 kills.
Match #3 – Saturday, September 20 – 5:00 PM
Robert Morris vs. Bowling Green (2-7, 0-0 MAC)
Athletics Center O'Rena – Oakland, Mich. Against the Falcons – The Colonials have lost all four times they've played Bowling Green. RMU last met the Falcons in 2010 at the Pitt Blue and Gold Tournament.
Scouting Bowling Green – The Falcons have won just two games on the young season, both of which came in the Wright State Invitational. Freshman outside hitter Nicole Slimko has tallied 122 kills - including 31 in a match against Wright State - while senior middle blocker Kelsey Bates has registered 41 blocks (4 solo, 37 assist).
Looking Ahead – Robert Morris opens up conference play next weekend as Fairleigh Dickinson and Sacred Heart come to the Charles L. Sewall Center. The Colonials take on the Knights at 1:00 PM on Sept. 27, then host the Pioneers at the same time a day later. RMU holds winning records against both FDU and Sacred Heart in its history, having gone 23-7 and 18-6 against the two respective programs. The Colonials split with the Knights and Pioneers last season.

Block Party – Robert Morris registered a season-high 12.0 total team blocks on Tuesday at Akron thanks in part to its two middle blockers. Senior
Becky Jay tallied four solo and three assist blocks in the contest, while sophomore
Leah Dunivan also had four solo blocks. Jay leads the team with 33 total blocks (7 solo, 26 assist), but Dunivan paces the Colonials in a per-set basis with 0.93 per frame.
Double the Double-Doubles – Freshman setter
Brianna Frakes doubled her career double-double total on Tuesday with 29 assists and 10 digs against the Zips. Frakes collected her first on Aug. 29 against Miami (Ohio) with 27 assist and 10 digs. She added three kills on seven attempts along with a service ace and block assist in the match with Akron.
