Moon Township, Pa. – The
Robert Morris University volleyball team got reacquainted with its home court last weekend, but now it's back on the road for the Colonials as the team heads to the New England area for a two-game road weekend at Bryant on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 5 p.m. and Central Connecticut State on Sunday, Oct. 18 at 1 p.m.
RMU (10-10, 4-1) split a two-game series at the Charles L. Sewall Center last weekend, dropping a gritty 3-1 match to Northeast Conference leader Sacred Heart, and sweeping Fairleigh Dickinson, 3-0. Senior
Kristin Thompson combined for 24 kills on the weekend and leads the team in hitting percentage (.307). Junior middle
Leah Dunivan posted a total 14 blocks (three solo) across two matches and racked up 20 total kills in two outings.
