Robert Morris wraps up the non-conference portion of its schedule Friday, Oct. 2, when they welcome the Howard Bison to North Athletic Complex for a 3:00 p.m. match. The Colonials are coming off a 2-1 double-overtime victory against Pittsburgh-area rival Duquesne. The win snapped a three-game slide and evened RMU's record at 5-5 overall. Howard is 0-9-1, most recently falling at UMBC, 2-1.
 
The Series vs. Howard
This is the third meeting in a series that started in 2013. The Colonials won each of the first two meetings by a combined score of 6-2. RMU took a 4-1 win at home in 2013 and won 2-1 on the road last season.

- Rafael Bruzual's goal at 107:41 against Duquesne was the fourth latest goal in team history
- Senior goalkeeper Brenden Alfery is second in the nation with 56 saves this season and is eighth averaging 5.6 saves per game
- Senior Neco Brett ranks eighth in the nation in goals (7) and is ninth in points (15)
- RMU is second in the league averaging 1.50 goals per game
- Brett was named to the Mac Hermann Trophy Watch List, an award that is given annually to the best men's soccer player in the nation

Coming Up
Robert Morris opens Northeast Conference play next Friday, Oct. 9, when they host the Sacred Heart Pioneers in a 3:30 p.m. match. It will be part of a men's and women's doubleheader at North Athletic Complex with the women hosting Sacred Heart at 12:30 p.m.
