Moon Township, Pa. – The
Robert Morris University volleyball team returns to Northeast Conference action this weekend with two matches in Brooklyn, N.Y., starting Saturday, Oct. 3 at LIU Brooklyn followed by a match up against St. Francis Brooklyn on Sunday, Oct. 4, with both matches beginning at 1 p.m.
Robert Morris (6-9, 1-0) took a break from NEC play to make the hour-long road trip to local foe Youngstown State, where they fell to the Penguins, 3-1. Freshman
Taylor Lord tabbed her first career double-double with 10 kills and a team-leading 19 digs. Junior
Arden Fisher recorded her second consecutive and 31
st career double-double, as she posted a team-high 12 kills and 16 digs.

Arden Fisher and
Taylor Lord both hit double figures in kills and digs in the Colonials' 3-1 loss to Youngstown State, and Fisher and
April Krivoniak recorded double-doubles in the previous match, a 3-1 conference-opening win at Saint Francis U.
Conference-Opening Win StreakRMU continued its conference-opening win streak with a 3-1 victory over the Red Flash last weekend. The Colonials haven't dropped an NEC-opener since a 3-0 loss to LIU Brooklyn in 2007.
