Pittsburgh, Pa. – After a promising opening weekend at No. 9 Bemidji State, the

The Colonials (0-1-1) improved immensely from Game 1 to Game 2 in their season-opening series at No. 9 Bemidji State, but fell just short of a win last Saturday after forcing overtime late in the third period. Kirsten Welsh tallied three assists in two games and collectively, four freshmen combined for six points in Game 2. The Robert Morris penalty kill unit successfully held off Bemidji State on seven of its eight one-man advantage opportunities.
