RMU Returns to Sewall Center for Big NEC Weekend

Colonials face Sacred Heart and FDU in first home matches since Sept. 1

Moon Township, Pa. – Thirty-eight days have passed since the Robert Morris University volleyball team last competed in the Charles L. Sewall Center, but the wait finally ends on Saturday as the Colonials take their home court against Sacred Heart on Oct. 10 at 3 p.m., followed by a matchup with Fairleigh Dickinson on Sunday, Oct. 11 at 3 p.m.

Robert Morris (9-9, 3-0) is coming off a win for the record books, as head coach Dale Starr led the program to its second victory over a Big XII opponent in school history. The Colonials entered the WVU Coliseum Wednesday night and took down the Mountaineers, 3-1. Junior Arden Fisher led the way with her 11th double-double of the season (13 kills, 18 digs) and junior April Krivoniak posted double-digit kills (10) for the third time this season. Freshman Brianna Schmid tabbed a season-high seven blocks, and RMU's defense combined for 57 digs and nine total team blocks.
