Capsule
This weekend's matchups in the Northeast Conference could be a sneak preview of next week's semifinal matches in the NEC Tournament. Robert Morris, currently second in the league standings, travels to third-place Saint Francis U while first place LIU Brooklyn takes on its local rival, fourth-place St. Francis Brooklyn. All four teams have clinched postseason berths with LIU guaranteed to host, but the two through four seeds are yet to be determined. With a tie or win, RMU would retain its hold on the second seed.

The Colonials are 3-0-1 in the last four games with a 2-1 victory at CCSU last weekend clinching the team's first postseason berth since 2006. The Red Flash is coming into this game on a three-game winning streak that clinched their spot in the postseason.

The Series vs. Saint Francis U
Robert Morris holds the edge at 13-9-2 against the Red Flash in a series that dates back to 1991. SFU has gotten the better of the Colonials as of late with a 4-0 win last year and 4-1 in 2013. RMU has not won in Loretto since 2009 in a 1-0 battle. RMU has played fairly well at Saint Francis with a record of 5-6-1 over the 12 contests.
