Moon Township, Pa. – This weekend's home-opening series for the
Robert Morris University softball team against Niagara has been canceled.
There are no plans to make up the games as RMU has now lost four contests due to weather in 2015.
With the cancelation, Robert Morris will next be in action Wednesday, March 25, when it travels to Penn State. The two games will be the Colonials' first meetings with the Nittany Lions since 2003 and the first time they've traveled to Happy Valley since 1991.
RMU's home opener is now set for Saturday, March 28, when the Colonials open their Northeast Conference schedule with a doubleheader against Sacred Heart.
