– The
Robert Morris University volleyball team essentially starts back at 0-0 and can put the non-conference season behind them as they open Northeast Conference action at Saint Francis U. on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 5 p.m. in DeGol Arena.
Leading into conference play, the Colonials (5-8) put together their best non-conference record since head coach
Dale Starr's 2011 squad compiled five non-conference victories. However, RMU has lost their last six matches, including four by shutout, and looks to return to the win column starting with the Red Flash (2-13).

A Historic RunRobert Morris qualified for its 16
th consecutive NEC Tournament last season, extending the conference's longest active streak of tournament appearances. In each of those 16 seasons, the Colonials have posted a winning record in league play.
Preseason Coaches' PollRobert Morris was voted to finish third in the Northeast Conference this season. Reigning NEC champion LIU Brooklyn was deemed the unanimous preseason favorite to win the league title.
All-Tournament TalentA total of four student-athletes were named to all-tournament teams in RMU's four invitationals played, including Most Valuable Players in junior
Arden Fisher (Robert Morris Invitational) and freshman
Liz Campbell (Rose Hill Classic). Junior
Leah Dunivan and freshman
Taylor Lord also received all-tournament honors.
